Kieth of Defiant MPS makes a large range of pods and one in particular is the trident chassis. Made to keep rods stable in all conditions and are also very adaptable for most styles.I have a trident hd chassis,and to be honest,i love it ! strong, stable, good looking (almost like me !) You can have a choice of 3 banksticks if needed in the very popular trident s type for ultimate stability.

Banksticks and Buzzbars / Snag Bars

I use 3 rod HD snag bars for a rock solid set up,they are very well made and do the job they are supposed to do, but some of you guys may fancy adjustble,   swan neck, lightweight, or just normal buzzbars.I am sure if you ask nicely he may make a set of carbon ones !

As for banksticks,well,,the auger type tip of the bankstick can and has been screwed into tarmac to test them out ! Again i have the HD version but standard thickess are also very popular,

At mps, they are always trying to improve and experiment to get ahead of the rest. just last week i had an email from kieth telling me about the new “ C type trident” he had built. Now, at first i thought ,it would look too tarty and gimmicky but when i looked a the picture’s   i realised it was ideal for the roving angler who likes to carry little and light amounts of gear. It looks very sturdy with a carbon fibre main chassis based upon the trident chassis, yet has stainless collars to screw on alarms / rod rests ,knurled thumb grip and stainless collar to adjust the length of banksticks and chassis, it also boasts stainless auger type points to the bottom of the banksticks so to not damage them in any way.

All in all a very well thought out pod/chassis that is lightweight, sturdy for a rock solid set up and yet looks the part. very nice !
