i did the weekend down at elsons, nothing has come ou since november and it's staying that way for now =/ my mate lost one and so did my dad's mate. sat night it went down to -7 lol

it was still quite weedy, it was my first time there and ive heard the weed is dreadful in the summer. but i felt that you could still fish effectively on the weed itself. when we were there the water level was up by several inches soo some of the swims were basically unfishable :(

Elsons is a really weedy lake in summer from what I am told. I fished it for the first time back in Nov and even then it was chocka!!! :(

Yea i was telling Kyle in a previous post i fished Elsons in July last year and after 2 hours with a marker rod i hadnt found a clear spot.
